The Chateau dates from the 1860’s – the Golden Age of French country Chateaux – and was built as a private home. Bill and Kevin continue the process of restoring the Chateau and its gardens in the manner of its original design. An endless but rewarding task.

Your stay at the Chateau will be a memorable one, not just for the good food, wine and company but also for the experience of stepping back in time. The five bedrooms in the Chateau, all named after local rivers, are light and airy and the decoration will allow you a peek into the era of Louis Philippe, though with the benefit of modern conveniences! All of the bedrooms, freshly decorated, have ensuite bath or shower rooms. We can accommodate those wanting one double or queen size bed in one room, those wanting two double beds in one room or two single beds in one room. So we can mix and match to meet your needs!

In addition there’s the Trincou Summer House (the Cottage), situated in the gardens a few metres from the Chateau, offering two separate suites – both with good sized bedrooms and again named after local rivers – and is entirely at ground floor level for easy access. One suite has a double bedroom and a separate single bedroom. The other has a double bedroom with two double beds. Each suite has its own ensuite bathroom and separate toilet. The two suites share a comfortable lounge area and large outside private terraced deck for relaxing. All of the rooms have pretty views, either over the village with its ancient church or the gardens with their tree lined alleys. The Summer House has its own kitchen, allowing it to be used as a Gite by a family or group of friends for a self-catering holiday (and if you are coeliac and want to self cater, we’ll bake gluten free bread for you for breakfast and dinner).

Sorry, but no pets are permitted at the Chateau. It’s the territory of the Owners’ Pembroke Corgis!

And, for insurance and safety reasons, smoking is only permitted outside on the terraces or in the grounds, and where it does not disturb the comfort of our non-smoking guests. Thank you for your consideration.
