If any holiday shows “FULL’ you are welcome to ask us about it as sometimes we do have a cancellation.

So, please check with us  via email or by  telephone to ask about availability and to request a specific bedroom.  We can take credit card details by phone and are always  happy to phone you back!

• Your accommodation for your 7 night holiday

• Breakfast.

• Four course dinner, with 2 glasses of house wine.

• Three excursions in our transport.

• If you are not arriving by car, we can arrange to collect you to and from the Chateau from Limoges and Bergerac airports, and from Limoges, Angouleme, Perigueux and Thiviers train stations.  For certain flights we can include this in your tariff .  For others there is a small supplement.  Normally we meet the Ryanair/Stansted and the Flybe/Southampton flights arriving and departing between noon and 1.30.

A summary of some of the facilities we offer:

• Movie afternoon from our DVD library if the weather’s bad – or just if you want to watch a film.

There is Wi-Fi in the Chateau in certain bedrooms and public areas. But you are here to Relax – so don’t stay too connected!

In our bedrooms, you will find hairdryers, bathrobes, soaps and shampoos – everything you need to make your suitcase lighter!

If you have any questions about the best way to travel here from your home,  please ask us. We can assist with car rental reservations should you want to rent a car so that you have more flexibility during your holiday.  And we can help you with train schedules.

In addition to our  weeklong ‘Full Board’ holidays, we also offer minimum two day stay B&B (with the option of a ‘gluten free’ packed lunch and evening meal by prior reservation).

The Trincou Summer House (our self-catering Gite) is open from May to October. With its own private kitchen, two large bedrooms with bathrooms en suite, and large covered terrace overlooking the park, it is a wonderful haven for a private retreat for up to four people. Guests have full use of the Chateau’s grounds.

La Maison des Sabots (adjoining the Chateau) is open all year round for self-catering.  This renovated 18th century town house features two generous bedrooms, en suite bathrooms, magnificent kitchen, dining and sitting room, beamed ceilings and open fireplaces, as well as a superb terrace and beautiful garden with superb views of the Villars’ church steeple.

If you want to self cater (and you are coeliac/celiac), we can bake bread for you each day and provide you with certain gluten free flours and pastas which can supplement the wonderful fresh produce you will find at our local farms and markets.

We’re available for special event parties – such as family reunions, commitments, birthday and other celebrations. A family can take over the whole Chateau, with its five bedrooms, and ask us to do the arrangements and catering.  Up to 20 can dine at the grand table in the Chateau.  In 2011 we have hosted a Golden Wedding Celebration and a ’significant’ birthday party linked to a fund raiser for Cancer Research in France.
